One of the top administrators at Slippery Rock University has been replaced.
According to SRU’s student newspaper The Rocket, Abbey Zink is no longer the university’s provost. That position is highest ranking official in the academic affairs office.
Zink came to Slippery Rock in 2019 from Sam Houston State in Texas. It’s not known if Zink resigned or was let go from that position.
Michael Zieg will serve as interim provost according to Slippery Rock’s website.
