Slippery Rock University’s chief financial officer is leaving to take the same post with the State System of Higher Education.
SRU announced that Molly Mercer will be moving on to Harrisburg to take on a newly created role with the state system.
PASSHE says Mercer will help oversee the redesign on the state system in Pennsylvania.
Mercer has served as CFO for Slippery Rock since 2012 and is credited with helping create a sustainable financial future for SRU.
Carrie Birckbichler will assume the CFO role in addition to her job as chief data officer.
