A local lawmaker is being recognized by an organization that helps promote small businesses.
The National Federation of Independent Business named State Senator Scott Hutchinson as one of their 10 “Guardians of Small Business” for the current legislative session.
As chair of the Senate Finance Committee, Hutchinson sponsored legislation that improved the state’s Board of Finance and Revenue appeal process as well as voted for freezing Pennsylvania’s automatic gas tax increase.
The NFIB is an organization that advocates for 13,000 small and independent business operators through limiting government overreach.
