Motorists should be aware of a local road closure planned for this weekend.
Whitestown Road in Connoquenessing Township will be closed all day Saturday in both directions between the addresses of 821 and 824. This site is between Eagle Mill Road and Holt Lane.
A contractor will be replacing and culvert and this project will take place regardless of weather conditions.
Road closed signs will be in place but no detour will be posted. No local traffic or emergency vehicles will be able to pass through while this work is taking place.
