Many Butler County residents began this morning shoveling snow and scraping ice off their vehicles following another winter storm.
A late night freezing rain gave way to snow showers earlier this morning, prompting all Butler County school districts to close for in-person learning today.
PennDOT crews say they were out treating icy roadways around midnight before pivoting to snow plow around 4 a.m.
The weather also left around 500 Butler County residents without power this morning, but the latest report from First Energy says only a handful are without power now.
The Winter Storm Warning wrapped up at 10 a.m. today, but forecasters still predict a chance of a snow shower along with colder temperatures for the rest of the day.
The National Weather Service also warns of possible flooding issues throughout the afternoon and evening.
