It was a relatively quiet Tuesday morning on the roadways considering the snow but emergency crews were called to a couple of accidents.
One of the incidents involved a Butler Area Rural Transit bus, better known as a BART bus.
It was about 8:15 a.m. when officials say the bus slid off Gengler Lane, which is a small road off Golden City Road in Saxonburg, and ended in a ditch. The bus did not tip over but was balancing on an embankment.
There were reportedly five passengers on the bus at the time, including one in a wheelchair. Everyone was safely transferred from the wrecked bus to a new bus. No one was hurt.
Saxonburg volunteer firefighters stabilized the bus until a tow company arrived.
