Winter Storm Blair wreaked havoc on areas south of Pittsburgh, however its impact has also been felt to the north.
All Butler County schools either closed or moved to flexible instructional days following the early morning snow.
The National Weather Service says the county will see about 1-2 inches of snow from this system.
For those heading toward Pittsburgh this morning, there will be some traffic impacts. PennDOT has put Tier 2 restrictions on I-279, the PA Turnpike from Cranberry to Breezewood, and some parts of I-79 in the south. Tier 2 restrictions prohibits tractors without trailers, RVs, buses, and any passenger car towing a trailer.
