Many Butler County residents woke up early Monday, looked out their windows, and saw some- likely unwanted- snow.
Persistent flurries throughout the day on Sunday started to stick late in the evening and overnight, leading to some light accumulation on the roads, sidewalks, driveways and yards by early Monday.
Some communities in the county were reporting some slick conditions on the roadways.
Luckily, the National Weather Service says the April snow will be short-lived. Expect sunshine and a high of 40 on Monday, and temperatures are expected to continue warming up through the rest of the week.
