The Tri-County Workforce Investment Board is naming its employers of the year.
HF-Sinclair-Sonneborn took home the top honor in Butler County.
Tri-County officials say this global manufacturer of high-purity specialty fuels, oils, and chemicals located in Petrolia employs approximately 190 people with core values of safety, integrity, teamwork, ownership, and inclusion. The company has also partnered with Butler County Community College on a worker training grant program.
In Armstrong County, HAVIN, Inc which stands for Helping All Victims In Need received the award. In Indiana County, Indiana County Technology Center won the honor.
