Another donation drive is taking place this week to help people suffering from Hurricane Helene in Avery, North Carolina.
The South Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department is looking to collect new or gently used tools, kitchen appliances, cleaning supplies, and tarps. They do not want clothing.
The items can be dropped off at the South Buffalo VFD on Firehall Road in Freeport between 6 and 8 p.m., with larger drop offs you need to contact Jason at 724-664-2793 or Ethan at 724-355-6271 to schedule an appointment.
