The South Butler County School District has filled an important administrative position following a recent resignation.
During a school board meeting Wednesday, the board accepted the resignation of Pam Mondock from the position of director of business affairs. Mondock had been employed by the district for nearly two years and will move on to a position closer to her place of residence.
The board also approved Jamie Van Lenten to take over as the new director of business affairs with an annual salary of $102,000. According to Superintendent Dr. David Foley, Van Lenten is a CPA with public accounting experience.
Pending clearances and employment prerequisites, Van Lenten will take over the director of business affairs position on Monday, June 28th.
