A longtime business in the Butler area has merged with another group.
Specialized Staffing is now partnering with CHS Solutions—another staffing agency primarily out of Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties.
The move was made officials late last month.
Lisa Guard was the owner of Specialized Staffing for over 25 years. She will stay on to assist in the merger, but believes this move will be great for the community.
“The team itself will remain the same. Everybody that you’ve talked to at the Specialized office will still be here to serve you,” Guard said. “But what’s changed is our ability to work on positions that have previously been outside of our scope.”
The business will still operate under the Specialize Staffing & Industry Recruiters name, but will be able to offer more options for both prospective employees and employers. Guard also said that Specialized Staffing employees will remain with the company.
Guard, meanwhile, will step aside from the business and venture more into the health and fitness world.
