Thousands are expected to gather this Saturday evening in downtown Butler for the annual Spirit of Christmas Parade.
It is the City’s only nighttime parade that will kick off at 5:30 p.m. Over 60 groups have entered the parade, which will showcase floats, marching bands, dance group, local first responders, and more.
There will also be events planned for kids in the Peoples parking lot at the corner of Main and North Streets beginning at 3 p.m. There will be face painting, a balloon artist, and a scratch-and-win game.
The parade will be broadcast on Armstrong’s Neighborhood Channel at a later date.
The Spirit of Christmas Parade is presented by Butler Radio and Peoples, an essential utilities company.
