The Slippery Rock University football team will face #2-
seed in the Atlantic Region Shepherd Saturday in the
second round of the NCAA Division II playoffs. Kick-off is
Noon. Hear the game on The Rock Station 97.7fm
beginning with the Coach Shawn Lutz Show beginning at
11:30am.
The Rock enters the game 10-2 overall. Shepherd is 11-1
and led by reigning Harlon Hill-winning quarterback Tyson
Bagent (Bay-jent).
The Pitt Panthers will visit Miami this Saturday night. Kick-
off is 8pm. Pitt enters the game 7-4. The Hurricanes are 5-
6.
The 9-2 and 11 th -ranked Penn State Nittany Lions host 5-6

PIAA Western Region Quarterfinals today:
–North Allegheny will travel to State College in Class 6A.
–Pine-Richland will host Erie Cathedral Prep in Class 5A.
–Grove City will host Martinsburg Central.

Four WPIAL championship games will be played at
Acrisure Stadium today, beginning with the 1A
championship at 11am and continuing through the 4A title
