A local library is holding joining in with an event kicking off Friday.
The Spring Market and Book Sale is a partnership between the South Butler Community Library and Saxonburg area businesses Friday through Sunday.
The semi-annual Clearance Book Sale runs Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. continuing through Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thousands of vintage books, DVDs, CDs, and kids books will be available to fill a grocery bag at a cost of just $5.
During the Spring Market on Saturday the library will be selling locally made ethnic food like pierogies and haluski. Kids will be able to play on the library’s patio and join in Earth Day crafts and scavenger hunt to win a prize.
