A local group of kids recently made a donation to another organization in order to help kids in foster care.
The William Graham Manor Squires is a group of boys ages 9 to 11 that are affiliated with the local Masonic temple.
Group members undertook a spaghetti dinner fundraiser in October and spent many hours planning, selling tickets, working with area businesses, setting up, waiting tables, cooking food, and cleaning up.
Earlier this week, the Squires made a donation of over $1,600 to representatives of Butler County Children and Youth Services.
The Squires is a relatively new program in the local Masonic temple that was started in 2018 for young men.
