February is Black History Month and Slippery Rock University has numerous programs planned to mark the occasion.
More than 15 activities will include a quiz game about Black history and culture to win cash prizes from 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday) in the Building F Greater Room.
Other activities sponsored by SRU’s Office for Inclusive Excellence include the Ebony Ball on February 8th at the Smith Student Center Ballroom, an art and fashion show, a movie night, and pop-up shop, as well as a speaking appearance by researcher, artist and advocate Joselyn Mitchell-Parker February 20th at the Smith Student Center.
