March is Women’s History Month and Slippery Rock University is marking the occasion with a number of special events.
SRU’s The Women’s Center and Pride Center hosts multiple events throughout the year but this month will include numerous virtual and in-person activities.
Those events include a virtual panel discussion tomorrow (Wednesday), a photo campaign next week in the Smith Student Center, a virtual presentation by a poet and activist as well as a movie night and a virtual discussion about the dangers to indigenous women.
The center is also hosting mentoring dinner, guided nature hike, and Self Care and Success Social towards the end of the month.
