Slippery Rock University is continuing to realign certain departments as they plan to rollout their new College of Health Professions.
The university planned to break up the current College of Health, Engineering and Science last year, and have now announced how the two new colleges will be structured.
The College of Health Professions will consist of the following 10 departments:
- Department of Exercise Science and Athletic Training.
- Department of Healthcare Administration and Management.
- Department of Nursing.
- Department of Occupational Therapy.
- Department of Public Health.
- Department of Physician Assistant Studies.
- Department of Physical Therapy.
- Department of Psychology.
- Department of Recreational Therapy.
- Department of Social Work.
The College of Engineering and Science will consist of the following six departments:
- Department of Biology.
- Department of Chemistry.
- Department of Computer Science.
- Department of Geography, Geology and the Environment.
- Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
- Department of Physics and Engineering.
