SRU football has three All-American players

Three Slippery Rock University football players have been named All-Americans. Named to First-team honors were wide receiver Kyle Sheets and offensive lineman Yuriy Hryckowian. Defensive back Josh Stokes was named to Second-team All-American status, after being completely overlooked when awards were announced by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference.
