Slippery Rock University led the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division with 13 selections to the All-PSAC football team that was announced Wednesday. Shawn Lutz was named the Coach of the Year for the third time in his career. Quarterback Brayden Long was named Offensive Athlete of the Year. He becomes the first football player in PSAC history to ever be named the Champion Scholar Award winner, for having the highest GPA of any player in the PSAC title game, and be named one of the conference’s Athletes of the Year. The Rock had nine of its 11 offensive starters named to the All-PSAC team, including Butler high school graduate Nick Stazer, who received second-team honors. The Rock defense had four players receive All-PSAC selections.
