The Slippery Rock University Department of Dance is preparing for a conference and performance later this week.
The department is hosting this year’s American College Dance Association’s Mid-Atlantic North Conference Wednesday through Saturday at the SRU Performing Arts Complex.
More than 200 faculty and students from more than 15 institutions will use the conference as an opportunity to celebrate dance in higher education as well as share research about the discipline. An Opening Concert is planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday while a Gala Concert will take place at 7 p.m. with both taking place at the Miller Theater.
Admission for the two events is $10 and tickets can be purchased through the SRU website.
