Slippery Rock University is hosting a public listening session this week to receive community input about the search for a new president.
A pair of town hall listening sessions are scheduled for Friday in Room 321 of the Smith Student Center with students invited to join from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m. followed by faculty from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Members of the Presidential Search Committee will be in attendance along with a representative of the firm that has been hired to assist with the search. Participants will be able to ask questions, offer suggestions, and discuss what skills the next president should possess.
Additional listening sessions with other groups will be scheduled in the near future.
