Slippery Rock University is hosting a public listening session this week dealing with suicide prevention.
The session will take place Friday from 10 a.m. to noon in the Smith Student Center Theater.
The Governor’s Suicide Prevention Task Force is organizing this event for the purpose of soliciting public input on ideas for suicide prevention, education around mental health, and how to eliminate stigma surrounding these issues.
Those interested in attending are asked to register online through the website of the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.
