The second of three remaining candidates to be the next president of Slippery Rock University will be welcomed on campus Wednesday.
Bruce Murphy, who is currently the president of Nicholls State University in Louisiana, will be interviewed by faculty, staff, students and community members.
Marsha Krosteng, president of Bluefield State College in West Virginia, was interviewed on Monday. Amir Mohammadi, who currently works for Slippery Rock University as vice president of finance, administration and advancement services, won’t have far to go for his interview on Friday.
The university’s first female president, Dr. Cheryl Norton, retired this summer.
