This season of the Slippery Rock University Performing Arts Series will wrap up with a performance this evening.
The Young Irelanders will perform a show beginning at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the University Union’s Multipurpose Room. This group has done shows on six continents for many heads of state as well as with performers like Riverdance, Michael Flatley, Bono of U2, and Sting.
The Young Irelanders have an eclectic sound which includes a mix of traditional Irish music Celtic music, folk music, world music, jazz music, country music, and popular music.
General admission tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors, $18 for youth, and $8 for SRU students.
