Students from across all of Pennsylvania’s 14 state-owned colleges will be participating in the first ever PASSHE video game tournament.
The online Esports event will be held on three separate days over the next couple of months. Esports teams have been picking up steam across universities over the past couple of years which has led to the first edition of this tournament.
Slippery Rock University will serve as host for the event, although it will be virtual.
The first game of the tournament is set for this Sunday and will feature Mario Kart. Interested students can register online and viewers can watch the quarterfinals via the SRU Twitch account.
