The Slippery Rock University women’s soccer team is continuing an overseas community service trip today in Costa Rica.
The team left Pennsylvania on Monday for a nine-day trip to the Central American country.
Aside from some sightseeing, the team will be conducting youth soccer clinics in underprivileged communities and delivering donated school supplies to children’s centers.
Earlier this week, the team took part in a series of exhibition games- known as friendlies- against teams from the Costa Rica Women’s Soccer League.
