A new college of studies is officially coming to Slippery Rock University.
The board to trustees approved the creation of the College of Health Professions.
University officials hope the new college increases SRU’s visibility among employers and prospective students.
A new dean was hired earlier this year to oversee the college’s development. The College of Health Professions will start no later than the fall of 2022 and will largely be comprised of existing academic departments.
