Slippery Rock University wide receiver Henry Litwin has been named one of 13 finalists for the William B. Campbell Trophy, and the only Division II player. The Campbell Trophy is presented by the National Football Foundation and the College Football Hall of Fame and awarded for academic achievement and community involvement, in addition to on-field success. As a finalist, Litwin has already received an $18,000 scholarship. The overall winner will be announced December 7th at a banquet in Las Vegas. The 13 finalists were announced out of a field of 176 semifinalists. Slippery Rock University is now the first Division II school to ever had two Campbell Trophy finalists. Marcus Martin was the other finalist in 2017. Litwin is a Conneaut high school graduate, who carries a 3.66 grade point average in his Safety Management major. Litwin is currently working on his MBA.
