The mother of injured Karns City quarterback Mason Martin has died.
Stacy Martin passed away over the weekend after a lengthy battle with cancer. Her daughters posted the information on social media, describing their mother as someone who constantly put others before herself.
Karns City Superintendent Eric Ritzert said the entire community is keeping the Martin and King families in their thoughts and prayers.
Her son, Mason Martin, collapsed on the football field earlier this year and remains in the hospital.
