The City of Butler Parks, Recreation Grounds, and Facilities Authority plans to welcome several interns to Michelle Krill Field at Historic Pullman Park next year.
Director of Facility Operations Dean Selfridge Jr informed the board Monday night that four interns from Slippery Rock and Clarion Universities have been chosen so far.
As part of unpaid internships beginning in March, the students will gain experience in administrative areas such as Sports Management, Communication, Hospitality, and Athletic Training.
At least one student will also be working to implement a marketing plan for the Butler BlueSox which was recently put together by a class at SRU.
