As the election day nears, officials in Pennsylvania are working to ensure all eligible voters know their rights to cast a ballot.
Voters with disabilities are allowed access to an assister to help complete their voter registration application. Mail-in ballots can also be delivered through a Designated Agent and applications for a designated agent can be found on the Pa.gov website.
On Election Day, there are several accommodations that can be made to help a person with a disability vote. When a disabled voter arrives, they should inform the poll workers who will then provide an auditory assistance, visual aids, tactile keyboards, and more to assist the voter.
The final day to register to vote is Monday and the final day to apply for mail in ballot is Oct. 29.
