State health officials are continuing to keep their eye on developments regarding the coronavirus.
Dr. Rachel Levine is the state’s Secretary of Health and she says they are constantly in contact with counties and municipalities regarding the disease.
“We have been in constant contact with our health department agencies, as well as other states and the CDC as we continue to track this global phenonmenon,” Levine said. “But some of the new information, even from last week, is the spread to South Korea, Italy, Iran and Japan, and the level it is spreading.”
Levine said no one has tested positive for the coronavirus in the state so far, and that her office also continuously tracks people who have come from China into Pennsylvania.
