State police have released crash data from this past Easter weekend.
Throughout the Commonwealth, state police responded to 449 accidents which resulted in four deaths and 101 injuries.
“Alcohol was a factor in 10 percent of the crashes, including one of the fatal crashes. And troopers made 341 DUI arrests as well as issuing over 13,000 traffic citations,” State police spokesperson Corporal Brent Miller said.
Miller says that traffic has increased as the pandemic wanes, especially over holidays.
He reminds drivers to be careful on roadways and to do their part to keep other people safe.
