State police were busy this past quarter when it comes to seizing drugs and background checks.
According to authorities, between July and September, state troopers seized nearly 2,000 pounds of illegal drugs including cocaine, methamphetamines, and fenatnyl.
There were also 285,000 background checks done on firearm purchases last quarter—of that number 44,000 resulted in a denial.
There were also 27 people arrested at the purchase point for outstanding warrants.
