Pennsylvania Department of Health leaders made it official last week by reducing the number of places where vaccines will be distributed.
The DOH announced the policy last month that they would focus on getting vaccines to providers who have proven to distribute the shots efficiently.
That means the health department is reducing the number of locations that receive shots by nearly two-thirds; moving from 780 to 284.
Officials say they believe this will help more shots get into arms quicker, while critics argue it makes accessibility more difficult.
