Another Democrat has joined the race to be the state’s next Auditor General.
State Representative Scott Conklin from Centre County is the fifth Democrat to enter the race.
The current auditor general, Eugene DePasquale is leaving the office after serving two terms.
No Republican has been the auditor general since 1997.
