The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Indianapolis Colts 26-24 Sunday at Heinz Field. The win was secured when Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri missed a 43-yard field goal with just over a minute remaining in the game. That field goal attempt was set up after Indianapolis was gifted a pass interference penalty on the Colts final drive. That drive coming after the Steelers Chris Boswell had had connected for a 26-yard field goal that gave his team their final lead of the day. Boswell hit four field goals in the game.
The Steelers offense manged just one touchdown, in the third quarter. Mason Rudolph threw for 191 yards and that score. He was picked off once. Running back Jaylen Samuels carried the ball 12 times for 73 yards. He also caught 13 passes for 73 yards. James Conner missed the game with a shoulder injury.
Steelers cornerback Minkah Fitzpatrick returned an interception 96-yards for a touchdown in the first half. It was the second-longest interception return in team history. The Steelers defense also registered five sacks.
The Steelers have come back from a 1-4 start to even their record at 4-4. They are now one game out of an AFC playoff spot. The Steelers host the Los Angeles Rams Sunday at 4:25pm.

–Miami earned their first win of the season with a 26-18 victory over the New York Jets. Both teams are 1-7.
–Philadelphia defeated Chicago 22-14.
–Kansas City defeated Minnesota 26-23.
–Oakland defeated Detroit 31-24.
–The Los Angeles Chargers defeated the Green Bay Packers 26-11.
–Seattle topped Tampa Bay 40-34 in overtime.
