The Pittsburgh Steelers made two trades prior to the NFL deadline Tuesday afternoon. They acquired wide receiver Mike Williams from the New York Jets for a fifth-round draft choice in 2025. The Steelers also acquired edge rusher Preston Smith from the Green Bay Packers for a seventh-round pick in 2025.
The Steelers next opponent, the Washington Commanders were one of several teams making moves on the final trade day. They acquired four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Marshon Lattimore from New Orleans. The Commanders are sending a third, fourth and sixth-round draft pick to the Saints for Lattimore, and also get a fifth-round selection.
