The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Tennessee Titans 40-17 last night at Heinz Field. With the victory, the Steelers improved to 8-2 overall. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw four touchdown passes, including three to receiver Antonio Brown. Brown had 10 catches for 144 yards. Chris Boswell kicked four field goals. The Steelers defense five sacks and intercepted Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota four times.
During last night’s game: Roethlisberger become the ninth player in NFL history to reach 4,000 completions in his career. He also passed Warren Moon for the eighth-most passing yards in history as well. (49,325).
Antonio Brown set an NFL record for needing the fewest games to reach 700 receptions. It took him 111 games, which is three fewer than former Colt Marvin Harrison. Brown also became the fifth Steeler in franchise history to score 60 touchdowns. He joins Franco Harris, Hines Ward, John Stallworth and Jerome Bettis.
The Steelers are off until they host Green Bay November 26th.
