The Pittsburgh Steelers blew two 14-point leads, but still managed to escape with a 29-27 victory over the Chicago Bears last night in their Monday Night Football game at Heinz Field. Chris Boswell kicked a game-winning 40-yard field goal with 26 seconds remaining to give the Steelers their fourth consecutive win. He also converted 52 and 54-yard field goals in the game.
After holding the Bears offense to six points through the first three quarters, the Steelers defense allowed 21 points to Chicago in the fourth quarter. The Bears took a one-point lead with just over 90 seconds remaining in the game before the Steelers moved 52 yards on three passes by Ben Roethlisberger and a scramble to set up the winning kick.
Roethlisberger threw for 205 yards and had two touchdowns to tight end Pat Freiermuth. T.J. Watt ended the night with three sacks.
The 5-3 Steelers host the Detroit Lions Sunday afternoon.
