The Pittsburgh Steelers fell to the Cleveland Browns 24-19 last night in the Thursday Night Football game. Cleveland led the game 10-3 at halftime, and outscored the Steelers 14-13 in a wild, snowy fourth quarter. The Steelers overcame a 12-point deficit and had taken a 19-18 lead with back-to-back scores in the final quarter, but the Browns scored the game-winning touchdown in the final minute.
The Browns overcame two fumbles and an interception, but their defense sacked Russell Wilson four times. Chris Boswell connected on two field goals, but also missed a 58-yard field goal in the first half.
The Steelers outgained the Browns and forced two turnovers in the final quarter, but it was Cleveland that made the necessary plays to win the game.
The Steelers had a five-game winning streak snapped as they fell to 8-3. They are now 1-5-1 in their last seven games in Cleveland. The Browns are now 3-8.
Next up for the Steelers, they will visit the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday, December 1st at 1pm. Cleveland comes to Pittsburgh the following Sunday.
The Bengals have their “bye” week this weekend.
The Steelers are now one game in front of Baltimore. The Ravens visit the Los Angeles Chargers for the Monday Night Football game this week.
