The Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings will play the first-ever NFL regular season game in Ireland this September. The official announcement came yesterday that the two teams were selected for that game which will be played Sunday, September 28th. Kick-off will be 9:30am Eastern time.
The Steelers have not played an international game since facing the Vikings in London back in 2013. Minnesota won that game 34-27 at Wembley Stadium. The Steelers met the Chicago Bears in an exhibition game in Ireland in 1997.
The NFL will play a record seven international games. The Vikings will remain overseas and play in London following their game with the Steelers in Dublin. The entire regular-season schedule for the 2025 season will be released today.
