The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Seattle Seahawks 23-20 in overtime Sunday night at Heinz Field. Linebacker T. J. Watt had back-to-back sacks in the overtime period and one of the sacks forced a fumble by Seattle quarterback Geno Smith which set up the game-winning Chris Boswell 37-yard field goal.
Najee Harris rushed for 81 yards on 24 carries. He also caught six passes for 46 yards. Ben Roethlisberger was 29 of 40 for 229 yards and one touchdown. Chris Boswell kicked three field goals in addition to the game-winner. The Steelers defense had five sacks.
The win brought the Steelers back to a 3-3 record, which is tied for last in the AFC North with Cleveland heading into the team’s “bye” week. The Steelers will visit the Browns October 31st.
Cleveland lost to undefeated Arizona 37-14 at home Sunday. The Cardinals are now the NFL’s only unbeaten team at 6-0.
