Stella DeLess, 95, formerly of Butler passed away on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021. At the time of her passing, Stella was residing in Brooklyn, New York where she had lived for the past four years with her great niece.
Stella was born on November 27th, 1925 in Butler, PA to the late Rade and Mildred (Kosovac) Milich. Stella worked as a draftswoman for MSA and Peoples United Telephone until her retirement in 1985. She was a kind, caring person who was devout in her Orthodox faith. She enjoyed volunteering for VNA Hospice and was involved in their program from 2001 to 2014. She also visited patients at Sunnyview. Stella was an avid walker and loved watching Pittsburgh sports teams, but above all else she enjoyed spending time with her great-great niece, Giuliana “Anna”.
In addition to her husband Robert DeLess and her parents, Stella was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara J. Hopper, five brothers, four sisters, and three cousins. She is survived by her son, Richard Andrews; two sisters, Lillian Reott of Herman and Dorothy Hays of Butler; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Milich of West Sunbury; five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Per Stella’s wishes, all services were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 NEW CASTLE RD. BUTLER, PA 16001 WWW.SPENCERDGEIBEL.COM.
