Stewart H. “Robbie” Robinson 96, of Chicora formerly of Kaylor, went to be with the Lord on Monday afternoon, April 12, 2021 at Streitman Hall at Concordia in Cabot with his loving daughters at his side.
Stewart was born in Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County on August 16, 1924. He was the son of the late Donald S. and Edna G. McGrady Robinson. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II and was a member of the VFW in Parker and the Brady’s Bend American Legion Post as well as the Chicora Moose Lodge. He was also a member of Holy trinity Lutheran church in Chicora.
Robbie retired in 1986 following more than twenty – eight years of service at Penreco in Karns City where he was a well-liked and highly respected foreman.
Stewart was preceded in his death by his first wife Winifred Lucas Robinson in 1982 and by his second wife Florence Harris Robinson who passed away in 2016.
Stewart is survived by two daughters: Beverly Moore and her husband Don, of Chicora; and Diana Bowman and her husband Dave, of Butler; a son Ronald Robinson of Chicora. six grandchildren: Bob, Dan, Kristine, Michael, Dave, and Mark; four great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; a sister: Margaret Foster of Vel Dosta, GA.; his sisters in law and brother in law: Shirley Robinson of East Brady; Barb Robinson of Prospect; and Terry and Sally Lucas of Karns City; a step daughter: Violet Dunmyre and her husband Richard, of Butler; three step sons: Paul Harris II and his wife Sue, of Boise Idaho; Raymond Dale Harris and his wife Joan, of Butler; and Timothy Harris and his wife Carolyn, of Houston, TX; a number of step grandchildren; step great grandchildren; and step great great grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to parents and spouses, he was preceded in death by five brothers: Pete, Paul, Gene, Homer, and Wilson; as well as a number of brothers in law and sisters in law.

Friends will be received at the Hile Funeral Home of Chicora, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road Chicora from 11 am to 1pm Friday. A funeral service will follow from the funeral home at 1:15 pm with the Rev. Joseph Boomhower, pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Chicora, officiating. Interment will take place in Bear Creek Cemetery in Petrolia. Military Honors will be accorded at the funeral home by members of the Brady’s Bend and Chicora American Legion Posts.
