Off-and-on storms moved through Butler County on Thursday morning.
Following the storm which rolled through the city of Butler and surrounding areas about 10 a.m, power was knocked out to nearly 1,000 people county-wide.
West Penn Power was reporting 900 outages as of 10:30 a.m. Thursday. More than half of the outages were in Prospect Borough. Other outages were reported in Center, Clearfield, Cranberry, Franklin and Lancaster townships.
The estimated restoration time was 1 p.m. Thursday. By 11:45 a.m, West Penn was reporting 625 outages. Power was restored to all customers by 4 p.m.
Central Electric was not reporting any outages in Butler County on Thursday morning.
