Local families are invited to Slippery Rock over the next couple weeks to explore the outdoors while learning about nature.
Beginning Saturday, Jennings Environmental Education Center is holding a storybook trail called “Habitat Sweet Habitat: Zapo the Jennings Jumping Mouse Looks for a House”.
This self-guided activity over an easy trail is designed for young children and begins on Woodwhisper Trail near the front of the Nature Center.
Registration is not required and this free activity will continue to be available until March 24th.
