Some powerful storms kept first responders busy Wednesday night.
Starting around 11 p.m. strong winds and heavy rain moved into the Butler area.
Overall, the Butler County 911 Center handled nearly 20 calls for downed wires during the night.
There were also a number of calls this morning for downed trees and wires on roadways.
Earlier this morning, there were more than 1,000 homes in the county without power between First Energy and Central Electric. However, that number is now down to 400.
